# AmberPic

AmberPic is a privacy-first image utility suite that runs entirely in the browser using WebAssembly. Every tool processes images locally on the user's device — files are never uploaded to any server. This makes AmberPic suitable for sensitive documents, medical images, journalist photos, and any context where privacy is non-negotiable.

The site is available in 33 languages and serves users in 200+ countries. We do not require accounts, do not display ads in tool interfaces, and do not track individual users.

## Core capabilities

- **Compress** images (JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF) while preserving visual quality
- **Convert** between formats (HEIC → JPG, WebP → PNG, AVIF export, PDF ↔ images)
- **Resize & crop** to exact dimensions or social-media presets (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn)
- **Edit** images (rotate, flip, grayscale, invert, watermark, brightness/contrast)
- **Remove metadata & GPS** from photos before sharing
- **Blur faces, license plates**, and other PII automatically

All processing happens client-side. Open DevTools during processing and observe zero network requests beyond the initial page load.
