WebAssembly codecs used by this tool:
- libheif — HEIC/HEIF decoding (used by iPhones)
- libwebp — WebP encoding/decoding (Google)
- libaom / libavif — AVIF encoding (Alliance for Open Media)
- mozjpeg — Improved JPEG encoder (Mozilla)
- oxipng — PNG optimizer
- MediaPipe — Face detection (for blur tools)
Standards followed:
- EXIF 2.32 specification (CIPA)
- WebP container spec (W3C)
- AV1-AVIF image format (AOM)
All processing happens client-side using WebAssembly modules. No image data is transmitted to any server. The processing speed and quality are equivalent to native desktop tools.
